Peak of Homecoming Flow in Senen Station Predicted to Happen on D-5

The number of passengers departed from Pasar Senen Station began to increase, even though Idul Fitri 1436 H is still leaving about 11 more days.

Predictably, the peak of homecoming flow will happen on July 12 or D-5

According to Bambang S Prayitno, Head of Public Relation for PT Kereta Api Indonesia Daops I, the increase in train passenger numbers is not too significant. Based on the data, since July 2 or D-15, around 12,909 passengers were departed, 16,161 passengers on D-14, 16,324 passengers on D-13 and 16,325 passengers on D-12. While on Monday (7/6) afternoon, the station had departed 5,000 passengers.

“Predictably, the peak of homecoming flow will happen on July 12 or D-5,” he told, Monday (7/6).

Prayitno added, at least 26 trains with various destinations around West Java, Central Java and East Java, are departed every day from Pasar Senen Station.

“Most passenger's destinations are to Central Java and East Java, like Kutoarjo, Purwosari, Madun, Surabaya, etc,” he finished.
